Audio embed code

Here’s how to get the code to post an audio file to a blog.

1. In the blog tool, click on the upload file icon.
2. Browse to the mp3 file on your machine and click Upload. In the next window that pops up, click Finish.
3. This will insert a link with the mp3's file name in your Rich Text editor. Click on the HTML mode button (looks like: <A>) and look for the block of code that was inserted. It will look something like: <span id="asset-8928716"><a href="http://media.oregonlive.com/special_impact/audio/02 Slave To Love.mp3">02 Slave To Love.mp3</a></span>.
4. Select the code, copy it to your clipboard, delete it, and come back to this page. Paste it below and click "Get code". (If you just have the URL of the mp3, that will work as well.)
